I would like to ask you for support with regard to SaitekLogitec Flight Sim equipment. X Plane 11 Saitek Trial And ErrorAfter some time of trial and error on the setup of getting these devices run correctly I am getting very frustrated because I find your devices having a completly ERRATIC behaviour in my system. ![]() When I say erratic, is because it is never predictable nor reproduceable. X Plane 11 Saitek Software Or DriversWhithout any change in hardware or software or drivers, just each new startup of the pc can give me new results of your devices running, or not. Most trouble given by the FIPs, but also 1 of the 2 Radio panels are frequently off after booting windows x-plane. The hardware test program does give good result, BUT only one panel at the time. So I have no clue on what could be the problem, except that at different times, all FIP have functioned. ![]() I felt that they have not kept up with LRs design so I removed all aspects of it within the computer. There is so many online articles on using Saitek instruments and panels going back to 2012, I want sure what direction to go. So, I went to Logitechs website and downloaded the appropriate drivers for each Saitek item I have. The site is;:, One download covers multiple Saitek instruments but I downloaded it anyway to make sure I did not miss anything. As you download these there is a secondary software for testing the radio, multi switch and others. I downloaded my files to my desktop 1st and after opening the files I cut and pasted the file on the desktop to X-planes ResourcePlugin folder located wherever you have the x-plane file. So far all works in unison and I have not found a bug except with my Pro Flight Backlit Information Panel. It just dont work. If someone who recently installed a working software for the Backlit Panel please post how you did it. ![]() I see Sparkers software but I believe it goes back to the 2011-2012 era and I am not sure if it is compatible with the current X-plane 11 version 11.30 software. So Ron, hope my format works for you and if anyone has any current info on the Baclit Panel please advise. But with this you can manage all Saitek Flight: Radio, Switches, Autopilot, and the FIPs If you have these equipments it certainly is worth that 39 bucks Also: The developers support is excellent as I have experienced myself.
